Entrepreneurs Associates is currently fundraising to secure the economic future of women street vendors in Nagaland. In October 2017, EA started a project to uplift women street vendors across the state. As the project progressed, EA research showed that over 80% women vendors have no formal savings of any kind, which left them highly vulnerable to unforeseen accidents.
With a contribution of Rs. 3000 each, a women street vendor can attain financial stability, learn to save, and be better prepared. For every Rs. 3000 raised, EA will contribute Rs. 2000 towards securing the financial future of vulnerable tribal women.
